Charlotte Cala

Charlotte is a Founder's Associate at Commplicated, where she leads AI optimisation (AEO/GEO) across the client portfolio, helping deep tech startups show up in AI-driven search and discovery. She works closely with the founder and senior team across research, content, client projects and day-to-day operations.Before joining Commplicated, Charlotte co-founded and led an award-winning climate tech startup recovering waste heat from data centres for industrial processes. She has also worked on reinforcement learning projects, training large language models like Anthropic's Claude to be safer with human feedback. She holds an MSt in English from the University of Oxford, a Graduate Diploma in Innovation Management from Central Saint Martins, and a BA in English from UCL.
